I took the MCAT and got a 10V 8P 9B. I decided to re-take it in the hopes of improving my score, however unfortunately that didn't happen. My second set of scores was 11V 5P 9B. Does anyone have an idea how schools will look at this? I heard some schools will take your best set of scores? Or your best combination of scores? Was anyone else in this position?

I'd appreciate any comments or advice.

Thanks!

I think most schools look at your most recent MCATs scores. I have two sets and only one school asked me what's up with my earlier low score. If you have two similar scores that are both low, it raises a red flag with the school. If you decide to retake, you should make sure your third score is significantly higher then the rest (ie based on practice tests). The more similar scores you have, the more the school will think that MCATs is a realiable measure in your case.
