Hi, I am a rising Junior.

In fall, I will be attending 4 year university but hesitated to use GI Bill for undergraduate.

tuition costs about 6k per year and GI Bill covers all my tuition.

However, if I save GI Bill for later, about 3~4 years later, I would be able to use it for dental school later which covers at least 20k + extra financial aid(yellow ribbon program) depends on which school you go to.

Nonetheless, the reason why I am considering using GI Bill for undergraduate is that I can receive monthly allowance for housing and stipend along with tuition.

What do you guys think? Is it really worth to use GI Bill for undergraduate?

For 6K per year, I'd be looking at scholarships for veterans. I paid almost all of my undergraduate tuition from scholarships that were mostly from military organizations, thanks to my mom being military (there was some reason she couldn't give me her GI bill benefits, but I don't remember what it was).
