The question is why would you like to become a; EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-A?
I like the idea of being able to take someone who is having one the worst days of their life, and try to make it a little better. At the end of the day, you normally aren't thanked for your job, but that's okay for me. It's about treating patients when they are in a time of need. If I don't become a doctor, I will fall-back to a paramedic job.
Paramedics are one of the most important emergency assets out there. All of the members of the medical community and/or pre-hospital community play an invaluable role on the impact of society. Having the ability to save someones' life while in the back of an ambulance just sounds appealing to me. Although there may be paperwork involved, most other jobs require it too.
Why does anyone else want to become a paramedic?
