What is the acceptance criteria for GPR?

I'm guessing they look at grade? If so, what stats do the good GPRs like to see?
I feel like I'm not a very competitive candidate, which is worrisome. My GPA is around 3.1 with class rank in the middle 3rd

Each application varies. There is no true formula. Make you application as strong as possible with what you have to work with. Say something in your PS that will make your case if yo have nothing else. All residents are not equal, but each team of residents must have individuals who bring something to the special to the team. No team is all captains.
