Can anyone shed some light on what happened to the osteopathic urology residency programs? There used to be 10 programs, but there's only 6 on the osteopathic opportunities website.

Did some of those programs close down? (ie Cook County and West Virginia had DO programs)... Thanks!

Could be wrong but I believe that the ones that have gained initial accreditation are participating in the AUA match?

the link states that once programs got ACGME accreditation they dropped the AOA status. Does that mean that they only take MD students?
It means they stopped paying aoa fees and jumping though aoa hoops

This. A lot of them still took mostly DOs from looking at match lists. They are just listed as AUA matches.
