We run a cat and dog rescue shelter from our home in Cyprus. We need 2 individuals or a couple to come and manager our shelter for 6 weeks so we can have a well earned holiday. We are hoping either Sept-Oct 2017 or March-May 2018. We have been running the shelter for 15 years without a break and we are physically and mentally exhausted and need to regenerate to continue saving the lives of many cats and dogs here. You would live in and take care of our home during this period. We would initially want you to come and volunteer for us for a week asap so you can understand what is needed and be happy to come back to manage the rescue for 6 weeks. We would then pay flights and provide food for those 6 weeks. We also need volunteers any time of year so please also contact us if you can give your time to help us help these poor animals (we would only be able to provide accommodation and airport transfers for short-stay volunteers). Need responsible, hardworking, reliable and assertive people. Non-Smokers. Fluent English. Driving Licence. Vegetarian/Vegans preferably.
