Hello, Is this program similar to an SMP program? Also, is the program associated with a formal medical school for possible acceptance?

Yes, we are very similar to an SMP program. Our program is intensive (30 credit hours in 2 semesters) and you graduate with an M.S. Also, many of the course are similar to the ones you'll see in the first year of medical school. We are not associated with any medical school, but we do have a relationship with the University of Iowa medical admissions and Des Moines University's DO program.
