Hi everyone.
I decided to start a more RECENT thread pertaining to women during & after dental school. I would really like to hear what everyone (especially ladies) have to say about the field of dentistry and the challenges they face or have faced balancing family, career, and debt.
I'm applying this application cycle, and while I am gung ho and excited about one day (hopefully ) becoming a dentist... one of my biggest fears is not being able to find a healthy balance between work and family.
I would really like to gain a women's perspective.
I know it won't be easy...
but How did YOU manage?
Is it even possible to "Have it all" ??
What were some of your fears upon launching your career?
So, ladies (and any gentleman inclined to add their two cents) ... what do you say? What do you think the future of dentistry holds for you?
