I'm applying for the NHSC program after the next cycle (like 2 years from now, cuz I'm pre-med). Does anybody in the program know what we should really focus on in the application? My family is somewhat well off, but they don't wanna pay for my med school lol. I really love primary care, and this program fits what I want to do, but what should I focus on doing for the next two years that would maximize my chances of getting into the program? (assuming I get into med school of course lol)
