Hey guys I am a Canadian dental student just finished 2nd year I have shadowed 3 dentists in three different specialities so far one of them is an oral surgeon and have raked up 3000 hours of volunteering in a hospital in Canada so far however I study outside of Canada and I was concerned with my GPA. I want to apply to an OMFS program in either the states or back home in Canada, would an OMFS program take my GPA seriously since I studied outside of North America? how important is i compared to the CBSE?
Thanks for you answers.

But you say you are a Canadian Dental Student.. You mean, you are a Canadian citizen, but go to dental school outside of North America?
There are very few residencies that will even look at an applicant from a foreign (outside of North America) dental school.
Your CBSE is very important, because there are fewer spots you can apply to... but I'm sure you already know this.
