Could I do well on this without taking GS' Crash Course? What's the difference between the two products?

I got burned by buying a calculus book from India which advertised "high quality acid free paper" and it was like recycled newspaper blended with a paper-towel.

Is this book the same quality paper as like a brand new $160 calculus book from my bookstore? Also, is it in color?

Do the electronic practice tests allow you to actually click on the answer like the real MCAT?

Do you have any data on how your customers perform on the MCAT as opposed to individuals who use different test preparation products?

Is this edition different from the one that was raffled off last year? If so, is there any major difference in the context?

Is there any special discount during this event?

On average, how much time does a person need to finish the book? Is a schedule (ex. Week 1 - Read chapter 1 Bio) included with the book?

Are there many changes between this and the older version? I really liked the content of the other version, but would really like some extra CBT's.

What the Crash course has to offer extra are the 16 hours of clear lecture style teaching for the MCAT: Physics, Biology, General and Organic Chemistry. This package is also fully online and is available immediately, where as the book would need to be shipped. Both products offer the same 3 MCAT CBTs, however with the Gold Standard MCAT book you also have paper exams that are easily removed. The cbts you would have online for the crash course are not printable.

Yes, the 2009 edition, which will be released in March, is in color and the quality of the paper used for all our products are far better than the competitors!

When you take the GS exams, the answers can only be viewed when you want to end the exam.

The 2009 Edition, which will be released by March 2009, will not contain different MCAT CBTs. However you can purchase GS4 – GS10 separately at the following link: GS Exams

Is the information in this book the same as the 16 DVD's? Also what are the differences between the new and old editions?

The DVDs are cross referenced to the Gold Standard Book, which make them the perfect pair.

The 2008 Gold Standard Book was in black and white, it contained 842 pages. The 2009 Gold Standard Book will be in FULL color and include a lot of changes, including graphics, layouts and about 150 pages of new content.

Good luck with your studies!
