I'd like to get your thoughts on this topic. Do you think this is an effective way to learn how to analyze psych passages?
I'm using Testing Solutions strategy for CARS and I've greatly improved my scores and ability to understand CARS passages. So i figure that since the psych section is slightly similar to the CARS section why not apply those same techniques on Pysch. I'm using the AAMC psych section bank as my passages. I'll use 1:30-min per passage question and 1-min for discrete questions, this will done after my daily CARS passages.
After completing the passages, just as I do with CARS, I write a quick summary note of how i felt, what i was thinking, why i think i did well, or poorly, on the passages, etc. After my summary note, I write a review note in which i analyze the Q&A to identify why right is right and wrong is wrong and make sure i'm familiar with the content.
