Switching to IM after psych intern year

Can anyone comment on switching to IM after doing a psych intern year? I matched into psychiatry and I'm having second thoughts. The hospital I'm doing my the IM portion of my intern year seems to have a prelim spot open. Has anyone successfully made the switch?
