How long can a subconjunctival injection of antibiotics (e.g. vanc/tobra) be expected to remain therapeuetic?

Probably less than 24 hours. Lots of controversy about whether or not there is any utility in doing this in the first place following surgery. Many have abandoned the practice given the lack of evidence to support it.
