Hi! As far as I can see there are a lot of people who know obviously much more than I do about starting their Residency abroad, so I hope will find some help in here:)

So long story short, I'm interested in Residency Program in Norway. Actually, I'm not sure about speciality, but mostly I'm thinking about psychiatry or pulmonology. I've done some research myself about requirements, but still have some questions

1. Bergenstest - only oral or writing part as well must be passed?
2. Is that true, that it's much harder for foreigners to start residency program there? Because as i read somewhere, apparently there are enough future specialist of their own nation down there now?;)
3. Is that even possible to start Residency there for foreigners?
4. Is that true, that if surprisingly, magically some workplace will be found, it would be only on rural parts or Northern parts of the country?

Hope someone will help me, I know a lot has changed because of 5-year med program in PL, so now this year they have much more freshly graduated students, ekhm, doctors ;)
I just started to learn Norwegian, but now I'm thinking if that was a good idea - small country, not that huge population, and i'm not sure whether i will find a job there.
I'm sure don't want to stay in my country, so pretty please, share your wide knowledge with me.
:)
