Hi, I am a new graduated general surgeon from Turkey. I am thinking to move to Australia. I read all the pathway procedure from websites(racs and this forum). However, I have still some questions.
1. I have no working experience after my graduation, but I have worked as a resident for 5 years just like an ausie surgeon. Will it make any problem while they are examining my documents and logbook(I have participated in more than 1400 surgeries+ 100 endoscopic procedures). Because I do not want to be assessed as not comparable(are there any previous log books which have been accepted by RACS).
2. Over the last 3 months, I have been looking for possible jobs to learn how many hospitals are looking for an img general surgeon and I could find only one so I asked racs that whether I can apply to registrar jobs or not and they said that yes. for this reason, I am wondering that how hard is to find a job.

I am radiologist trained in India. I have 5. years post M.D. experience and was planning to apply for specialists assessment pathway, Australia. Can someone please guide me. what's the interview like. How do they assess your training? Is it really worth a try? do they really consider Indian radiologist? or can one ever get posted in a good city there?
