I'm planning to take the MCAT in the summer of 2018. I wanted to start studying now but I was wondering if I should wait until the new AAMC Practice Exam and MCAT Prep Book for 2018 comes out. Are each edition fairly similar? I'm worried that there will be new information on the 2018 MCAT that I won't get to know if I purchase some of the previous books. Any ideas, folks?

Also, does anyone have any suggestion as to what MCAT study material I should use? Kaplan 7-book subject, Princeton, ExamKracker? Or should I buy individual books from different company, because I know some company does particularly well on certain subjects.

Thanks!!

If you are starting now, i'll get the TPR set + TBR sciences. And also, no single book will cover everything, but the TPR really does a great job at covering high yield topics extensively.
