You need to answer that question by starting with what type of career you'd like to have for yourself and how the degree, knowledge and networking of the MBA curriculum gets you where you're trying to go. For example, I know someone who wanted to go into healthcare consulting and the MBA helped him get his foot in the door for that through an internship. And later after residency, he went straight into healthcare consulting full time at the same firm he interned at. I personally think an MBA is great idea as it allows you to hedge your bets so to speak if you get sick of clinical practice at some point and want to switch into another industry (I.e: consulting, pharmaceuticals, VC) or if you have an eye on hospital administration
