Hey y'all! Just wanted to start a thread for everyone to share residency interview invites for 2017! Would love to hear when you received the invitation and for what program! Good luck!

We just started looking at our applications today. I don't expect we'll be extending interview invites for at least a week, if not two.

Just got an email today for a video interview with Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.

Sorry to bother you. If I can ask, when is your program's application deadline? I understand if that seems too personal. Thank you either way.

For those reading this thread, don't sweat too much if you haven't heard back yet. I didn't get my first interview invite until Jan 15 and ended up with 7 total. Some programs just work at different speeds

Interview at Erlanger Health Systems and Rejected from Wake Forest Am Care so far.. Waiting on 11 more...

I got a phone interview for the PGY-1 at UW yesterday!! Does anyone know what is asked with phone interviews?
I haven't heard back from any one else yet: Duke, U of Utah, U of Colorado, VA Texas Tech, OHSU, VA SLC, UNC, UNM.

I would not take it like that. They are a big program, and they didn't offer dates yet so you're probably still good.

Got a phone interview from University of Washington on Friday as well! And an on-site from Aurora (Metro, Inc) yesterday (PGY-1).

University of Minnesota PGY-1 - Rejected 01/09
Advocate Christ Medical Center - Interview offered 01/12 (scheduled for 01/27)
Advocate Illinois Masonic - Interview offered 01/13

Still waiting on 9 others

I didn't receive the interview (haven't heard back from my programs). But I wanted to post to update what I know from friends for others who have applied to those programs!
 
Heard back and got interviews yesterday (Monday 1/9/16) at:

MD Anderson
University of Kansas (TUKHS)
Dignity Health St Rose in Las Vegas, NV
Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN

(Still waiting on 8 others)

Anyone know when UCSF normally sends out interview invites?
 
Curious if anyone has heard from a VA hospital about PGY-1 interview invites?

Pharmacy Practice? Man, Mayo got back quick if deadline was last Thursday!
 
Just out of curiosity, do programs send all interview invites at once or a few at a time over a period of days?
