For all those transitioning to the CSP (Army especially) as of July 1, have any of you received any info/guidance on how exactly the recoupment of the overlapping legacy pay will take place? I've heard you can payback in one lump sum or spread it out over (up to) a year. But that is the extent of what I've heard without any specific guidance.

within 90 days of contract acceptance, we should get a letter going through repayment options. supposedly there are 5, but the main ones are lump sum from pay, lump sum from check, or payment options (suspecting there are 3) with a 2.5% interest rate. too bad we don't get interest on our delayed pays like they do for recoupment. but at least they all sync now and the last year ISP screwjob is gone.

And we have to set that up through the DFAS/pay personnel, correct? Not through Special Pays office? It's basically like paying back any gov't loan/overpayment.........with interest in this case
