Hey everyone...

I applied last year to 2 schools and wasn't accepted. I'm reapplying to different schools so I'm wondering if I still need to re-write my essay. What do you guys think? I also wanted to say that, although I really don't post much, it's been so helpful to read what everyone else writes! Thanks!

Definately. I mean, its been an entire year, I'm sure you have something fresh that you might want to present to adcoms. And, not to be too harsh, but that essay didn't get you accepted before, so it wouldn't hurt to write a new one. Have several people (perhaps a professor you haven't had, who can give you an unbiased opinion) to read over it, and give their honest opinion.

If time is an issue, and you really feel that what you wrote last year is equally representative of you and your goals, give it a shot. I personally wouldn't recommend it, though. But I'm just a silly pre-med.
