I have already submitted my medical school applications and hence are not editable. I had two tickets in 2010 which I had thought were civil infractions and hence did not include in the application. I saw that one particular secondary urged applicants to double check and make sure that we had documentation on infractions to make sure that they were not misdemeanors. I requested my records and they contained one extra paper which stated that they were indeed class c misdemeanors.

I know I must mail the schools individually to inform them of this. But now that I have the red flag of two misdemeanors which I did not disclose, I fear I will be considered dishonest and that my apps will go into the trash.

Should I withdraw this year, include them on my app next year and just reapply? Is it possible to change that part of the app next year?

In my opinion this is an almost complete non-issue. Explain in an email to each school and I suspect that most will not hold it against you.
