1. How is being a Medical Assistant different from a Receptionist?
2. What would an EKG Technician's job description be?
3. Question 2 for an Insurance Billing and Coding Specialist?
4. What kind of benefits would you see from any combination of the above three and three certifications in the following paragraph?
*Note: I am looking for personal experience, please. I am asking for human speak and not technical jargon.

I am asking because I have six certifications that I earned while getting my Associates. I have experience with my Phlebotomy cert, have no interest in using my Patient Care Technician (found out is a reworded CNA, eww), and almost the same amount of interest in my Medical Office Assistant Certification (sounds like a certified receptionist.).

I will be looking to acquire a job using any of these certifications and am looking for your experiences to help me decide where I want to take this with my life. Will be looking as soon as the project I was hired to help with is finished at a print company and would like to ensure my knowledge and certifications are up to date.

Thanks in advance for the information.

1) A medical assistant takes vitals and a brief history from the patient prior to the doctor seeing them.
2) Doing EKGs. Hooking up the leads and printing out the EKGs for the doctors to interpret.
3) Go through charts and determine the proper thing to bill insurance for.
