2. Click the link received in your email to activate the account.

*Please note that once you register the license key with an account it will be tied to your account and you will no longer need to remember it.

You have to create an account first (without a key), install the viewer, and then go to profile settings within the viewer to enter the key. It worked for me when I did this.
