Curious question,
I graduate in May with my B.A in Psychology and a Minor in Human Sexuality
My GPA will end up being around the 3.0 range
I know I want to go towards my LCSW and my passion is working with Children and Families, but I plan to take a year off to work and gain some experience.
My cheesy moment here: My Mom mentioned to me that in my year off, not only should I work, but in order to keep my mind fresh and educated, I should try and see if there are just a few classes I could took until I get accepted in an MSW program.
So My question is, ( If anyone happens to know) Is there like a amazing (or stellar and cheap) post bac program for Social Work? Or a way this can be accomplished in taking classes ( in like children or Families or something related).
I would appreciate recommandations on the best option. I'm all for education and keeping my mind fresh and luckily because my GPA will survive, I dont have to take the GRE so I have free space to take a couples classes and hopefully prepare for MSW =)
Thanks!
