Organic Chemistry section score calculation more forgiving?

I noticed on the score conversion chart for the ADA practice test you can get 11/30 (~36%) and still come away with a 300. Is this really accurate? Kaplan seems to not have more lenience when calculating scores for their practice tests. Obviously your final score is based on a standard distribution, but do y'all feel the norm is bombing the ochem section that hard?

That was a 2006 scale no one knows what the scale is now. My guess is probably a lot less forgiving. They changed the scale in 2009. Proabably add 1-2 points needed for every interval. So instead of 11 you would need 13.
