Hi!
I am a junior, biology major, who is applying to optometry school this upcoming summer & had some questions about optometry school courses in general.
I was wondering if the courses in optometry school are mostly biology based? As I have already stated, I am a biology major & dislike physics. Aside from topics such as optics of course, I was wondering if the courses in optometry school are mostly biology or physics based?
Additionally, math is also not my favorite subject either. I have only taken applied calculus in undergrad, & was told that that was fine as a prereq for optometry school. So I was also wondering if optometry school courses are also heavy in calculus as well?
I love biology so I was hoping that I can gain some comfort in learning that optometry school courses are mostly biology based!
Thanks!!
