Hey for anyone who is still looking for a TRI spot,

Inspira Health (part of ROWAN) in Vineland, New Jersey has one spot open. It is a great new facility, full EMR (~40 mins from Philly, ~1 hr from Atlantic City, ~2.5 hrs from NYC), great faculty and staff. No call (but Night float for 2 months), and the regular TRI curriculum

To update. Inspira did take some of the TRIs into programs post match in the scramble. However, none in the EM program as is their standard and apparent intention. It was only after they didn't fill in the match that they bothered to consider they're TRI program interns as candidates for their programs. Do not expect truth or transparency with communication in regard to the EM program. The GME office will tell you whatever you want to hear when the pressure you to sign on the dotted line but they will not follow through on promises made. No matter what they tell you, they do not honor away rotations, multiple electives, or preference in your field of choice. A TRI at Inspira is an Internal Med year w 2 full months of night float and an additional 5 months of IM. They round it off with 1 or 2 months of gen surgery, 1 month cardiology, 1 month of EM, 1 elective. No OB, no peds, no out patient experience of any kind, no ICU, no Ortho ... Do not consider Inspira if you are determined to be EM. Not only will you be losing the opportunity to show your stuff to a program who will actually consider you but they will demoralize your efforts by dangling the carrot all year without communicating their lack of intention.

Did you attend this TRI? would you offer some advice to a potential applicant for this program about electives, housing and curriculum in general?
