I would say go ahead and submit while you wait for the other LOR to get submitted. This way you can get started on supplemental from other schools and what not ...

Good luck to those on the interview trail this year!
Believe me when I say that once you have the interview, you are judged more on how well you fit into the program, and less on your rank or CBSE score. Getting the interview means that, academically, you'll be able to succeed in their program.
There are 200+ applicants who apply to each program every year, and they will only have enough interview spots for 20-40 people. Getting an interview is a big investment on the program's part too, since choosing you means they weren't able to invite someone else they really liked.
Be enthusiastic, dedicated, but most importantly, be humble.
And I'll see those who will be coming to Shreveport this year!

In that case, I think I would also add:
-UConn will hold the interview on 11/6-7 and 11/13-14. The aim is to have the invites sent out by 10/1.
-Gundersen: interview is 12/15, invite should be out by early November.

Tried searching previous threads and could not find a clear cut answer. Does any current resident or student applying this cycle know if programs will send out rejection letters? Also related, is it the norm for places to send out all invites out at on a certain date, or do they review over a period of time. I am guessing it likely depends on the program. This leads to my last question, is it okay etiquette to contact the residency coordinator after you have seen that interviews have been sent out to ask if your application is still under review? Thanks.

Can't say I can answer all parts to your question, but after I started to note that early interviews were sent out for programs I had an eye on, I did email the residency coordinators asking if my applicaiton was received and completed.

I got a rejection letter from Emory , I don't know if that helps
