I just saw a notice under Washington University : Not participating in the ERAS 2018 season.

But we already submitted the application via ERAS, what we should do now?

Try contacting ERAS on Monday. They should be able to give you a refund or something for this, no?

They must have prematched all their spots.

So far, 18 to AMGs and just 2 to IMGs? I know the differentiation was done late so could it be that some of the earlier ones were IMG IVs and the posters just didn't go back to move them under the right category?

18:2 is slim pickings for IMGs...

Medicine and it's quirks ,all the while there are NP and PA prescribing biologicals and practicing rheumatology with much less training or practically no significant training !

Yeah. But, still waiting for IVs for the ones requiring visas!!
True... The layers of disadvantage are pretty apparent but not shocking. During residency application, it was clear to me that God can make a testimony out of a disadvantageous situation. Hang in there, all. I have not gotten a single interview yet but I'm good and still very grateful that I was able to match into residency given my disadvantages.

Don't let this discourage you. Always believe that you will get what's best for you :)

Oh I'm not discouraged one bit but thanks for the encouragement. I'm having fun actually and regardless of the outcome in December, I'll be eternally grateful to God that I got to be a doctor.

Rejection from university of Michigan ,at least a rejection !

I have told by the peers that I should call the programs to show my interest. I wonder if applying through ERAS with my CV and everything else doesn't show interest, would my call be the game changer?

I'm certain that it varies from program to program. But one thing is for sure... they are all busy this period and may be less inclined to take such a call warmly. I'd say don't let that stop you though; follow your gut feeling if it tells you to do so. I called programs during residency application and their responses ran the gamut.

I would say don't call, but you can send an email if you have a particular interest in a certain program (like family in the area, a faculty member you want to do research with, etc). Ideally you would have put any special information like that in the personal statement you assigned to that program, but an email about it is fine too. When I applied to residency I did a few tailored personal statements and sent a few emails expressing a special interest, and I do think it helped me get some extra interviews. On the other hand, if you just have general interest, well, you already showed your interest by applying, so don't annoy people with extra calls and emails.
Anyway, I'm not a program director, so take this advice with a grain of salt.

Curious to see if SDN page views serve as a useful surrogate for level of interest / number of applicants.

If so, this may be a busy year. There are 16k views of this thread, which is almost as much as ID, nephro, endo, and allergy/immunology combined (18k).

It's also 2/3 as many as pulm care and over 1/2 as much as cards, and both of those specialties match a loooot of applicants.
