Hey! When did you submit your app? Mine was just completed yesterday (little late, I know, my last letter of rec was late) and I'm really looking forward to hopefully hearing back from them. I feel like it might be delayed though since my supplement was in later.

Ive been having problems with most schools. Even though my application was complete by June 28th, some just marked it as complete 2 weeks ago when I called them. Pitt hasn't put me under review, I called Boston and they put me under review like the minute after I hung up. Penn and Harvard had me marked as awaiting materials until I called 2 weeks ago. Basically now I'm the same as someone who applied like 2 weeks ago for those 2 schools. I started calling other schools cause it seems like other schools might have somehow messed up.
The problem isn't on AADSAS cause I called them....it's the schools. So I don't know ...if I would have called them before I might have gotten this solved sooner. I'm just really writing this cause maybe some of you who aren't hearing back might be in e same position.

I don't post much but I feel compelled to dealing with many of the same sentiments. From looking through the people who have gotten invites, seems like MAJORITY have GPAs north of 3.7. Not really surprising, and not undeserving. But when looking at the GPA averages of the schools, majority of of them are sub 3.7. Law of averages says people with lower GPA's are also accepted. To me, sounds like 1st round interviews are just going out but a 1st round batch doesn't make a class (well hopefully not). Stay patient and stay confident. Definitely not time to jump off a bridge just yet.

I'm speaking pretty generally, and not directing these comments at anyone in particular.

Some schools choose to update AADSAS, others do not. And 9 times out of 8 you'll get the most recent correspondence through email.

You will hear when you hear.

Nope it's not that. If I wouldn't have called these schools they told me thhe would have never marked it as complete. It's a problem with how aadsas sends the app to schools

Thanks! Yeah I been having problems with schools. Michigan makes like sixth school that I should have heard back from and I didn't haha. Gonna call them Monday

If I recall correctly, you were also waiting on your committee letter to be submitted right? Maybe that had something to do with it.

I got an application complete email from Michigan on 7/18 and my status on AADSAS has been "Complete" ever since. I don't know what to do because schools keep telling us not to email them about application statuses. Still, I can't help but feel that my applications are just sitting at the bottom of an increasingly thick pile of apps :(
