OAT in January

Hey everyone! Someone may have asked this before so I apologize if I'm repeating this question.

So I am most likely going to be ready to take the OAT in January 2017 (probably the middle of the month) and I wanted to gain some insight as to whether or not it's considered late in the cycle? I've already submitted my app, just waiting on one LOR from a prof. and the OAT, both which realistically will be done in January.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Well it depends on where you are applying. You will probably meet the deadlines for most schools. As far as being late into the cycle, I wouldn't say it's super late but you are going to be up against more competition at that time. If your application and OAT are solid you should have a good chance at getting an interview and acceptance.
