One more time. My personal advice to those desperate:
You only choose NM under the following conditions:

1. definitely no place to go. And desperately need a place, even if it is hell and more than 90% chance is you wouldn't find a job in NM after you are done.(Nobody can say definitely that you can't find a job after anything in this world.)

2. You are sure you can transfer into radiology in the future. The future for radiology residents is doom at least for now. Go and check radiology forum.

3. You are sure you can transfer into other specialties, like IM, FM. Remember the funding limitation from Medicare.
