Hey guys, any thoughts are appreciated...

cgpa-3.42, sgpa-3.31 (mostly A's, excluding a couple C's that screwed me)
MCAT 511: 129, 126, 129, 127

-1.5 years (~3,200 hours) analytical chemistry experience in metabolomics, no pubs
-1.5 years (~1,200 hours) enzyme biophysics spectroscopy, student research assistant
- 2 years ( ~5,700 hours) Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting Specialist in Marine Corps with DoD EMT
- 1.8 year (~ 4,000 hours) Technical rescue specialist: a lot of certifications and trauma emergency training on pigs (gnarly)
- 60 shadowing hours- 40 orthopedic surgery in private practice, 20 in nephrology academic medicine
- 100 hours in Naval hospital ER volunteering as EMT
- 450 volunteer hours as organic chemistry tutor
- genetic disease runs in family, exposure to what disease really looks like from the caregiver perspective. (Personal statement fuel).
- financially disadvantaged growing up
- first generation college grad
- white male
- CA resident

You could try these schools:
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Albany
New York Medical College
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
GW
Georgetown
Oakland Beaumont
Western Michigan
Medical College Wisconsin
Rosalind Franklin
Creighton
Tulane
any new private schools that open in 2018 (Roseman, Seton Hall, etc.)
Also apply to at least 6 DO schools and you are competitive for all DO schools. You may need a DO LOR for some schools.
