Last cycle, I had two II resulting in a rejection and waitlist. I did not get off the waitlist. But I took the advice of one of the interviewers and retook three classes (got all As) and this spring I'm taking two more upper division science courses (currently have high As). I have spoken with two professors in these courses about writing me an LoR and they have both said yes.
The professors teach Cell Biology and Biochemistry respectfully.
My question is, will these fulfill the science letter requirements at schools? Last cycle I applied with letters from my Gen Bio professor and Evolution professor. I was told at one school that the Evolution letter wouldn't count as an actual primary science letter but that they accept the gen bio one in place of it (so I had to reorder the letters in the applicant portal)
