Neurosurgery and lower back pain

I'm a medical student and interested in specializing into neurosurgery.

Problem is that I have lower back pain while standing still for a long period of time. It's probably just weak core muscles and excercising my core muscles would most likely help but I still believe that I will have some lower back issues for the rest of my life. Btw I'm 25 years old.

Will lower back pain cause me trouble in neurosurgery career? Can neurosurgeon make surgical procedures while sitting down or do they always stand?

Low back painL tends to get better as you stand more frequently. Unless you have a known spine disorder I wouldn't fret. Some cases can be done sitting.
