This activity will challenge learners’ clinical decision-making skills through the presentation of various scenarios as they work through a sequence of patient challenges. Cases will include patients who have undergone various ocular surgeries or invasive interventions who present with subsequent inflammation and/or pain and reduced vision. The learner will need to work up and work through a series of cases with different types of endophthalmitis, pathogenetic causes, and management plans. For each of these scenarios, learners will be challenged to make one or more clinical decisions through interactive questions and exercises, with formats including multiple choice, prioritization, categorization, Likert Scale, and matching. After the learners respond to each, they will receive faculty feedback in the form of commentary and discussions.
