Great idea. I'll be sure to keep this bookmarked and hope to remember it's there in a few years when I start.

Thanks. I try my best to include practical tips for anyone who leads a busy lifestyle. Even as a college/medical student, it's good to build the habits now and the habits will continue to follow you as your career grows.

Our blog about starting and running a practice is probably more geared towards those in ophtho residency if not already practicing, rather than med students, but we recently had someone email us stating he read our original iballdoc blog when he was a med student, is now finishing fellowship and opening his own practice.

www.solobuildingblogs.com

The take home point is despite what you hear about consolidation and large groups running health care, in some specialties solo practice is alive with docs happily and successfully running their own business.

It also has a store attached with what looks like the most useful textbooks that first and second year students could use. We all know its hard to decide which books to read! Theres a link to that too, Ill be happy to give out!

Hello my dear colleagues,

I just started writing my own blog a month ago and I would really appreciate if you could check it out and ideally, show me some love :) To introduce myself - I am a first year student of medicine in Slovenia, Europe. If you’d want to know more about how studying on my University looks like, what classes I take, which tips and tricks I share, and more, then I’d kindly invite you to google medicinina.me ❤️

Thank you!

I started blogging one year ago and thought I'd share my blog here too. I'm currently a second year European medical student who started her blog about a year ago to write about the journey to become a doctor. I'd love it if you could check my blog out too! It's doctorinspe.wordpress

Just started a new Youtube Channel since we both got accepted into medical school this past cycle!
We haven't really posted much yet but we're planning to Vlog our medical school journey if anyone is interested.

Is anyone here a blogger or anyone of you knows a person who make blogs about medical supplies? I would be a big help for me.

Hi,
Yes I am a blogger about surgery and surgical supplies and I run Sutured, a fast growing surgery portal. You may check it out and let me know how we can work together.

www.thehealthcarescholar.com/ (About) (FAQ)

We're starting a medium where we have writers from across the nation, and across different healthcare fields, begin to engage with students of all healthcare professions. This is an insightful, free, and entertaining way to gain a better understanding of the strengths and struggles of other professions. It's free to subscribe, and I promise we don't send any spam <3

I stumbled across BeMo. They have blogs for all different aspects of med school and residency.

Hey all!

Just doing some self-promo and putting out my educational PM&R-based podcast. I'm trying to keep the information at a PGY-2 "just starting out on the rotation" material. Also going to be doing some other one-off episodes but keeping them all medicine-based. Hope you like it, and please feel free to let me know things that I can do better.

We are a medical student-led educational podcast aiming to promote clinical reasoning in early learners through clinical problem-solving exercises. We hope to update your illness scripts, add new diagnostic schemas to your clinical toolbox, and share clinical pearls throughout, as medical student discussants team up to dissect an unknown case in real-time.

Definitely check out our special episode featuring the Clinical Problem Solvers.

Give us a listen on your next drive to the hospital or while on a run. Would also love to hear your feedback!

We are a fantastic resource for learners interested in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, and Hospital Medicine.

Blogging is fun, and I still blog at www.investingdoc.com. However, I recently started vlogging since I find it easier than writing my blog articles. Just started recently to create videos again. I plan on doing a weekly video about practicing medicine as an independent practice and owner of a practice. Consider subscribing and following along.

I am a PGY-5 neurosurgical resident at Johns Hopkins, and I have recently started writing publicly about my experiences in residency, and hoping to inspire change for the better. Sometimes it's hard to put a name behind a statement, but at all programs residents are being taken advantage of at a systemic level.

What we need are stories regarding mistreatment to be collated in a single-venue among all specialties. It would be great to interface with other's interested in dealing with this problem.

If that's something you want to discuss you can reach me at [email protected]. You can find my blog here for my stories from residency. Ryan Planchard, MD (RPlanchard.eth) – Medium

Define the problem first.

Albert Einstein once said, “If I were given one hour to save the planet, I would spend 59 minutes defining the problem and one minute resolving it.”

For instance, if you define "taken advantage of" as being forced to work 70-80 hours per week, many would disagree. Some might argue this is necessary to achieve your required caseload.

You must clearly define the problem first.
