Hello everyone,

I have been gathering information about med school, as a sophomore in college. I was wondering if my MCAT score is required at the time I submit my application, or can I take the MCAT after I submit my applications.

Thanks so much

You can submit your application before you take the MCAT, but they won't really look at your application until there's an MCAT with it. So yes you can submit, but you can't go through interviews or anything like that.

submitting without an MCAT score is a top ten mistake. You cannot select a list of schools to apply to without having a score. I generally advise students not to spend much time on application until they have taken the MCAT

Thank you so much!!!
