This is a list of resources available to you to prepare for the 2015 MCAT. As more resources become available this list will grow!

MCAT Psychology and Sociology: Strategy and Practice: Starting in 2015, the MCAT will ad a section called "Psychological, Social, & Biological Foundations of Behavior." Next Step's book will give you an in-depth discussion of the strategies to attack each passage and several different approaches so you can find what works best for you. You will then be able to apply those strategies on four full-length MCAT practice exam. The challenge of the new section will not simply be memorizing 101-level sociology and psychology concepts. As with the science sections of the MCAT, basic knowledge is important -- but top-scorers know that its how you apply that knowledge on the exam that leads to success. Rather than drill endlessly on vocabulary concepts, Strategy and Practice focuses on HOW top students approach the exam. Every passage has extensive explanations showing you how to analyze the passage and every single answer choice. Next Step has assembled the most experienced team of MCAT writers in the industry, including a 44-scorer with 12 years of experience, a MD/PhD with a decade of MCAT teaching experience, and a PhD in psychology.

MCAT Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills: Strategy and Practice: Next Step's MCAT CARS: Strategy and Practice prepares students for the updated MCAT verbal section (April 2015 test dates and forward). With 330 pages of strategy, tips, and practice, this is a necessary resource for preparing for the new exam. This is the only MCAT verbal prepbook built from the ground up for the 2015 exam, rather than rehashing material found on the old test. Most prep companies make the mistake of suggesting only one way to approach MCAT verbal. After working with thousands of students, we've found that students benefit the most by being shown the three best ways of approaching CARS: the highlighting strategy, the note-taking strategy, and the skimming technique. We cover each and show how top-scorers decide which approach best fits their style. You will then work through three half-length and three full-length MCAT verbal practice sections. Understanding your performance on the CARS section alongside the time limits is critical. About the Author Bryan Schnedeker is Next Step Test Preparation's National MCAT director. He has scored a 44 on the MCAT (prior scoring scale) and has taught the MCAT for over a dozen years.

AAMC's Official 2015 Practice Test: Currently there is only one official full length practice test from the AAMC. It costs $25 and is available right now. It is a small price to pay for this valuable resource.

Our Video Review Of The 2015 AAMC Practice Test: After you complete the AAMC practice test (why haven't you completed it yet?!?) watch this video series where our resident MCAT experts Bryan Schnedeker and Dr. Anthony LaFond break the test down and review some of the content. They also include helpful MCAT test strategy tips and suggestions as part of the review that will help you as you prepare for the exam.

MCAT Question of the Day Emails - We all know that practice makes perfect. This is true in sports, music, dancing, and of course the MCAT. You should be giving yourself every opportunity to practice and our MCAT question of the day emails are just the thing to give you a daily dose of MCAT prep.
