DESCRIPTION: Offering a post-residency fellowship (clinical + research) position to begin on 07/01/17.
Pre-requisites: Completion of 3 year residency in Ophthalmology. U.S. Citizen.
The fellowship is one of the premier vitreoretinal fellowships in the United States. It is a comprehensive 2 year AUPO compliant fellowship that encompasses medical and surgical retina. The goal of the program is to provide fellows with the training and experience to be ready to fully practice high quality vitreoretinal surgery and to diagnose and manage medical retina diseases when finished. Training takes place in a busy academic setting, working with 3 experienced vitreoretinal specialists. Fellows are exposed to the full range of vitreoretinal surgery and medical retina from the beginning of the fellowship and fellows are helped and encouraged to progress rapidly in development of advanced surgical skills.
