Is end of August too late for Optomcas submition?

Hey all!
I'm looking throughout the thread and it looks like a lot of people have submitted their applications for this cycle already. I have been on vacation for the past 3 weeks, and I will be able to submit my application at least by August 30. I am wondering if that's too late? Will I even still have a shot at getting an interview if I am submitting it that late compared to everyone else?

Anytime before Thanksgiving is still considered "early" according to one admission rep I spoke to. That seems to be the general consensus when you look at forums from previous years.
