I'm guessing they're talking about ranking you. One of the interviews I went to, they told us that the interview was just another score added to our application in addition to "scoring" our MCAT, GPA, LORs, etc. After, they said they created a ranking and drew two lines: everyone above = accepted, in-between = waitlist and below is rejected.
