This is my second time taking the MCAT. I only have 6 weeks to study because school and volunteering has taken over my life. After I graduate I will take 6 weeks and will only be studying for the MCAT before my job starts. Is it possible to improve my score this much in only 6 weeks?

It's possible, but I would not attempt it. If you don't succeed in getting a better score, admissions committees will be able to see you got two low MCAT scores and it won't reflect well on you.

Study for the MCAT while you're working. You should have plenty of time to study on evenings and weekends.

Possible, yes. But even if you manage to score a 503, that's not really competitive (I'm not sure exactly where you plan to apply..this may be good enough for some DO schools, but probably not many MD). I would postpone, study more, and aim for a higher score.
