How to 'cover' a rotation?

I hope all of you are fine and well

If lets say you are beginning a spine or reconstruction rotation.
How do you plan this rotation out? What do you study, how much?
I seem to get totally lost, workign hours, oncalls, OPDs, exaustion. I am not structured enough to get the maximum out of this.
Can anyone help?

First of all start with the basics ie anatomy. I

Second as you go in clinic, or etc and you have a question try to remember for later so you can read about it.

Third read about the case you are about to do, even if you a re like a second assist. The Masters books are real good for this.

Yellow Journal, AAOS Comprehensive Review, and prior questions if you can get your hands on them. Unless you're taking it as an intern , in which case nothing.
