This exam is a beat down. If you compare the material depth for other subspec exams, it has leagues more you need to know. I would do a focused Hemepath review course like the one the Cornell folks used to do in FL every year (Knowles course?). No idea if it still exists.
Good idea, LADoc. I did take this course the January after I took the hemepath boards and do recall thinking that it would have been great material for boards review. There are a few comprehensive ASCP courses too that have been good over the years.
One of my co-residents took it today and she said it was quite difficult. Not sure what she used to study. We both took the cyto boards last year and she said cyto was a breeze compared to heme.
