Help letters of rec

I haveletters for podiatry school but am thinking about applying to both podiatry and regular medical schools. How bad would it be to send in letters of rec for medical schools that mention podiatry school?

I really don't want to contact professors to change this

I would probably have them change it. Podiatry school is not the same as medical school.

Well yes but the recommendation and what is said wouldn't change.

If your letter writers wrote "I enthusiastically recommend [amar314] for admission to your podiatry school," I would have this changed to medical school; otherwise, I'm sure the content of the letter and qualities your letter writer highlights would apply to both.
