I will be graduating in May 2017 with a Bachelors degree (honors) from a US university and possess a high school diploma BUT I am a German citizen (big caveat--as I need to apply through hochschulstart with all the German applicants)
How would the German system rank my GPA compared to NC? Would it make more sense to apply with my high school diploma or my college diploma? I have a 3.95 college GPA and I was top in my high school class. Did anyone go through a similar process? I know nowadays, you need a 1,0 to get into German med schools, but I am curious how the translation will be.
Also, it seems that German students can now get a 0,8 if they receive a 1+ on their Abi, but 1+'s are not given out at the university level here, so how do I compete with the crazy German NCs that are <1?
Any insight is appreciated!
