What do people believe will be the dominant business model in pain medicine moving forward?
Drilling Teeth Model = Working with your own hands doing procedures or seeing patients either as a fee-for-service agent or salaried employee.
versus
Carried Interest Model = Working through others (employing, leading, and managing teams of people or other doctors), owning shares in ancillaries or facilities fees, real estate investment/leasing, management service organizations, direct payment from insurance companies for aggregated "savings" or non-service/service denials, etc.
