Foundation programme

1. Hello everyone, i am a british citizen and recently graduated medicine abroad and i want to apply for the foundation programme in the uk 2018.
   Im a bit worried that ill miss the eligibility window because im having trouble getting the min score in ielts.
   My question is that if i fail to apply for the foundation programme, can i wait till feb/march 2018 to apply for f1? Or is the process different?
